Fabric Wedding Badges and Daintree Wedding Hub

Hello!

We’re very excited to say that we’ve just launched our new range of fabric wedding badges. These are unique wedding favours and they start at €21.99.

After seeing us featured in Confetti magazine, the folks over in Daintree Wedding Hub invited us to exhibit at their first Fab Wedding Hub pop-up shop. It’s on from 5.30-8pm this evening and we’ll have a whole pile of our wedding badges to exhibit. We’ll have samples available to anyone who would like them too.

Express and Design Service

At the Spike Badges HQ, we’re excited to announce two new services just for you.

The first is our Express Service which means now if you need your custom badges lickety-split, your order will get priority in the queue. You’ll be number one! You can pick this option on the drop-down menu for each custom badge listing. Sweet, eh? 

The second is our new design service. We’ve have lots of experience making badges, thousands of badges in fact. When we get designs for custom badges, we normally advise our clients of any little changes to make their design pop. Sometimes, we come across designs that need just a little bit more tweaking than normal. This service is for when designs take an extra bit of time to get perfect

A Visit to the National Print Museum

I’m a big lover of type. Serif; sans-serif; kerning, everything and anything. I’d been promising to visit the Ireland’s National Print Museum LINK or a long time and I finally got around to it this week. I had a bit of a wander trying to find Garrison Chapel in Beggar’s Bush Barracks and it was tucked away in a corner.

They’ve over a half-dozen presses, all reconditioned and in perfect working order. The sheer size of these machines is something to behold. The Shaw Pen ruling Machine is simply a goliath. Who thought pen ruling used to be so difficult? There’s a couple of pics below, but there’s an album on Facebook LINK.
